Lighthouse of Hope is a spirit-filled, multi-cultural church whose focus is to impact the community by presenting the HOPE of the Gospel through biblical education, caring for individuals and families, providing diversity in worship, and training leaders through Jesus Christ.

Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that the New Birth, regeneration by the Holy Spirit, by grace through faith in Jesus’ shed blood is absolutely essential for salvation of lost and sinful man

We believe in the Water Baptism as an act of obedience to the commandment of the Lord and as a statement to the world of identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.

We believe in the baptism of Believers in the Holy Spirit and subsequent manifestation of tongues, spiritual power, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in public testimony and service.

Pastor Raymond Perry

Raymond Perry is a native of Salisbury, Maryland. He is the founder and leader of Lighthouse of Hope Worship Center, Inc.

Elder Perry walks in faith as a servant leader after God’s heart. He believes that his life must speak louder than words. Therefore, he lives his life according to God’s word. He believes in giving God all the glory and prays that all he does encourages someone, saves souls, and changes lives. Elder Raymond also believes that “preparation plus opportunity will equal your success” referring to the scripture that all things work together for your good. Together with his wife, he ministers to marriages through counseling and workshops. Elder Perry has been invited to speak at Men’s conferences, marriage seminars, and youth services to name a few.

Educationally, Elder Perry earned an Associates of Arts in Teaching Education at Wor-Wic Community College, an Associates in Theology Degree from the Christian World Theology School, Bachelors of Science in Liberal Studies and Master's of Elementary and Secondary School Counseling from Wilmington University. He has been working for the Wicomico County Board of Education for over 20 years.

Additionally, Elder Perry is married to Elder Antionette Perry and combined they have three children Tierra J. Hudson, Tisha R. Perry and Raymond L-J Perry.

Elder Perry has never known a stranger and extends the love of Christ in all that he does. He is a servant and worshiper of Christ, who walks humbly in the call of God on his life with a vision to Empower people to impact communities for the sake of the Kingdom.

Pastor Antionette Perry

Antionette Perry is a native of Salisbury, Maryland. She is the Co-Pastor of Lighthouse of Hope Worship Center, Inc.

Elder Antionette has a heart for children, young ladies and marriages. She teaches that knowledge is powerful to become who you are destined to be. She is the founder of and wrote curriculum for “Ladies of Grace” which empowers young ladies to be successful educationally, socially and emotionally. Together with her husband, she ministers to marriages through counseling and workshops. Elder Perry has been invited to speak at Professional development workshops, Women’s conferences, marriage seminars, and youth services to name a few. She believes that all assignments must be completed with excellence to glorify Christ.

Educationally, Elder Antionette earned a B.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education at Sojourner Douglas College, a Master’s Degree in School Leadership at Wilmington University, a Master’s of Christian Counseling from Kingdom Bible University and a Life Coach Certification from American Association of Christian Counseling through Light University. She has been working for the Wicomico County Board of Education for over 23 years. She is currently a principal in the county. Her occupation is more than a job, it is a ministry where she changes lives. She is the CEO of Inspired to Live and the author of two journals.

Elder Perry extends the love of Christ to everyone around her. She believes that she is destined to educate those around her and to assist them to become the best that they can be with the leading of the Holy Spirit.
